Update to V. 2.2.0: Improved accessibility
Siedle is providing you with an important update for the new version of the Apple operating system iOS. In iOS, apps that need to be accessible in the background as well are now activated via what is called a push notification. The decisive advantage of the push notification is that the app no longer needs to be kept permanently open, thus conserving battery power. As soon as the update for the app is available, you will be notified in the Apple App Store.
Please note
The new version of the Siedle App does not function perfectly unless the server update V. 4.2.0 for Access Professional has been installed. The Server update is now available in the download area of the Siedle website.
The Siedle App V. 2.2. will follow in week 35. This will only work properly if the server was previously updated.
The current Siedle App for Access Professional also functions with the new version of Access Professional, ensuring a smooth transition.
Internet access is essential
An Access Server operated by means of a Siedle App with push notification has to be connected to the Internet. Only then can the server transmit a push notification. The configuration for the mobile telephony connection remains otherwise unchanged.
Prior to this, the server update for Access Professional will be available in the download area of the Siedle website.
