Our way
Is a company justified in using any method or avenue to achieve its goals? No! There are some methods we reject despite the fact that they could provide a solution to problems. Examples include: Cutting jobs and relocating our production. Both of these could reduce costs, but we still refuse to countenance them. Another example is the armaments business. We have no interest in pursuing this type of business even though it could generate more turnover and profit. This principle is based on a system of values which we respect, safeguard and maintain. These values have their roots in certain concepts of solidarity and responsibility.
Siedle does not do anything that promises to create turnover and profit.
Values are the foundation stone and the orientation framework for everything we do. We uphold them in the same way as laws or commandments, they act to create boundaries and limits. The corporate strategy must be positioned within these boundaries. Our laws and commandments are set out in our corporate mission statement.
Values create boundaries and limits for everything we do.
Siedle's values are not new. They are based on the personal beliefs of the entrepreneur Horst Siedle. His company has always been in complete agreement with him. In our mission statement, we jointly adopt these values as our own, transferring them from Siedle the entrepreneur to Siedle the enterprise. Which means they remain valid – today and in the future, even as conditions become more difficult and even after a change in the management.
The values incorporated by Siedle remain valid independently of who is at the helm.
